Updated pictures - finally!

Here they are ladies! My before and after pictures! I set out to become a fit soccer Mom and 27 pounds later, I think I did it! :)

(Might I add, I am wearing my spiffy new running outfit and my new Nike Moto's!) I'm in the second week of 5k training now! I went for my first R1/W1/x10 last night. It was great. I love the new shoes. They feel like you're wearing socks with foam on the bottom. You can feel the air whistling through the shoe as you're running. So nice!

Have a great day!

I forgot to tell you that Podrunner from itunes (a free podcast) also has some learn to run music. (also a couch to 5k type, but not the couch to 5k that everyone else is talking about on the posts) The pace is set out for you to follow by going with the beat so you do not push yourself too far. The change in pace from walking to running is by a horn of some kind. I just checked out the level of the first week today and this is around where you would be. It does start off with a good walking warm up... which is good.

So... If you wanted to do something different one day for a change in case you got bored with your program, it is something new to try. I do warn you that it is techno music.... :) Week 1 in this is about 1 min walk to 1 min run, with a good 5 mins walking warmup and then a good walking cool down.

Just thought I would throw it out there for you so you could have some alternatives for yourself on days that you are bored. :) - or lacking in time of preparing a timed mix for yourself. :)
