Today is a new day...

They canceled our WI last night due to the weather. I felt so cheated! I was so good all week, with my tracking, eating, exercising - and I don't even get to see if it paid off. :(

I know it sounds strange, but it's like my motivation is a parking meter. Those meetings are like the money in the meter. I get to see the pay-off, get some encouragement, top up my motivation and I'm good to go for another week. I spent last night feeling out of whack and kinda discouraged.

But today is the beginning of a new week. If I can get my head in the right place, my chunky butt will follow along behind! :)

I made myself a fruit smoothie for breakfast. I nearly made some banana muffins, but I thought better of it. I froze the banana's instead. I will save baking for a time when I am feeling stronger and more motivated. (That's a bit of a nsv for me.)

I vow that I will stay within my point range today. I will save my flex points for when we have company this weekend.

Have a great day everyone!

Well that really sucks that your meeting was cancelled. I guess it is better to be safe though... Is there a place you can go today and do your wi? You have done so well this week and deserve to see your accomplishments. :)

Asperger's is a bugger to get diagnosed. It took quite a while to get my son's diagnosis. He finally got his in the end of grade 4 - way too late for my liking. Since then it has been a merri-go-round of figuring out the right meds and getting the help at school. You said they are in SK? The Autism Society is a great help and a wealth of resources. If they have not already looked into them - they should. Once they get the 'official' diagnosis from the specialist, they need to take a letter from them stating what the child has and give it to the school immediately! Some extra EA help recommendations can take FOREVER!!! But really a great help when you do finally get it.

Now see who's chatty.... :)

Great job by the way on not baking with the bananas! I have been holding off on that all week. If I find a really low pt recipe for some muffins - I may cave tomorrow. :)

Have a good one!

Your weather must have been pretty bad! I would suggest the investment of the WW digital scale. I got mine a couple years ago and LOVE IT! Although, I remember when I first got it and weighed on it compared to the rotary scale I had...PRETTY SCARY! I was nine pounds heavier! Just about cried but regrouped adjusted my starting weight and started over. I think I bought mine at Wal-Mart for about $30 I've actually been weighing myself every couple days just so I could monitor if I was doing my week correctly...especially when I hit that stupid plateau.
Just a thought :)

WTG on not baking the muffins! I got a new Kitchen Aid stand mixer for Christmas and it's been sitting because I don't want to do any baking. Oh well...one day.

Okay I've written a fricken' novel here...Have a great day :)
